Registered Nurse (Surgical Service)
The General Surgery Patient Care Coordinator is a professional registered nurse whose primary purpose is to be responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process including systematic data gathering, assessment, appropriate nursing judgment, and evaluation of human responses to actual or potential health problems when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. The Patient Care Coordinator assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific components.
