Seeking a Long Term Care Reimbursement ExpertLatham, NY (Albany Area)LeadingAge New York, a statewide association of nearly 500 not-for-profit and public long term care providers, has an exciting career opportunity available for a Fiscal Policy Analyst to function as the association’s principal expert on Medicare and managed care reimbursement. The incumbent would assist member plans and providers with reimbursement, billing and other operational issues, and would also research, analyze and provide input on regulations, legislation and policy changes governing Medicare, managed care, and Medicaid reimbursement. The Fiscal Policy Analyst would also assist with staffing of the Association’s Cabinets, comprised of LeadingAge NY member representatives.Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years of relevant experience in Medicare and/or managed care payment issues. Policy analysis and/or direct experience with a long term care provider or managed care plan preferred.
