The Medical Lab Tech provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. In this role you will consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem solving skills.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:  To qualify for a Medical Laboratory Technician position:* 1 year related work experience preferred* Associates Degree in laboratory science OR* Bachelors Degree in related sciences, OR* Completion of a U.S. Military 50-week course leading to specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist or equivalent role* MLT ASCP or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire To qualify for a Medical Technician position:* 1 year related work experience preferred* Associates Degree required* Bachelors Degree preferred* MLS (or MT) ASCP or categorical/specialty certification or equivalent required within 6 months of hirePhysical Requirements-Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
