Nurse (Suboxone)
Carl Vinson VAMC is seeking a Register Nurse to serve as Suboxone Nurse. The Registered Nurse (RN) within the Suboxone Clinic is responsible for the coordination of patients receiving Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD). He/she is responsible for providing patient-centered care within the nursing license scope of practice including: initial assessment and intake, induction, stabilization, and maintenance phases of treatment of patients with OUD. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
