The Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist serves the health care system by providing appropriate patient and family centered end of life care for veterans within Acute Care Hospital Operations (ACHO). Incumbent reports clinically to the ACOS for Extended Care or Designee. He/she reports administratively to the Chief Nurse for ACHO.
