Interventional Spine Fellowship located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina serving the Charleston community. Offering an unaccredited 12-month Fellowship in Interventional Spine Care. Currently seeking a motivated candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset to assist with a growing practice. Moonlighting opportunities available on the weekends covering acute inpatient rehabilitation units in addition to annual compensation.
The Fellow will become proficient in a wide range of office-based interventional procedures for pain management, including ultrasound-guided joint injections, cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral transforaminal epidural steroid injections, sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, discography, and spinal cord stimulation. Other clinical training provided includes EMGs, moderate sedation, bracing, and medication management. The Fellow will have the opportunity to complete rotations in sub-acute rehabilitation and in-patient rehabilitation at local hospitals. Upon successful completion of the fellowship, the Fellow may have the opportunity to be offered long-term employment with the growing practice.

$62,000 Annual Compensation
Benefits include health insurance, malpractice/liability insurance, AAPM&R conference fees, and 15 days of vacation.
Requirements for Application:
Completion of an ACGME accredited residency program in PM&R
Must apply for medical licensure in South Carolina prior to the start of fellowship training.
Must be board certified or eligible for certification in PM&R; Recommended for candidate to take board exam prior to start date.
After completed application materials are received, we will review the materials and contact selected residents for an interview. The interview will take place over one entire workday with time spent with the physician in clinic and the procedure suite. The fellowship start date is September 1, 2022; however, the start date is flexible pending approval of the fellowship director.
