Interventional Cardiologist performs and supervises invasive (including interventional) and noninvasive cardiology procedures including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, and percutaneous coronary intervention. A recruitment/relocation incentive of up to $20,000 MAY be authorized for a highly qualified candidate. Duties for the Cardiologist Noninterventionist include but not limited to: Provide consultative services and follow up for inpatient and outpatient patients. Moderate Sedation and Certification Fluoroscopy privileges' and Certification Expertise in non-invasive cardiology; including echocardiography, TEE and nuclear skills and stress testing Works within his/her privileges at all times. Must be qualified to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with cardiac diseases according to standard, usual, and acceptable methods and techniques. Expected to maintain current knowledge and skills. Must be able to deliver interventions throughout the full spectrum of Cardiology care, i.e. she or he is expected to maintain good diagnostic and therapeutic acumen. Collaborate with mid-level providers and physician colleagues with clear communication and documentation Responsible for consultation on various forms of cardiovascular diseases, both for diagnosis and treatment. Performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac studies such as stress tests, ambulatory ecg monitoring and cardiac imaging tests such as nuclear study, echocardiogram, Cardiac CT and Cardiac MR Proficient in non-invasive imaging modalities including advanced echocardiogram skills, Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Alternate schedules may be necessary to meet the needs of the organization.)
