The Baylor Scott & White Health Nurse Clinician provides clinical expertise in the provision of professional, quality care based on a synthesis of current research, concepts, principles, theories, and outcomes. Our Nurse Clinician serves as a clinician, educator, investigator, consultant and leader.
Our Nurse Clinician collaborates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care and professional practice in collaboration with members of the health care team, formulates care plans and provides direct, continuous care for patients. The Nurse Clinician serves as a resource to patients and families, providing preoperative counseling and follow-up problem solving after discharge from the hospital.
The ideal Nurse Clinician will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide age -specific, quality, patient-centered care to all patients.
