This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until all position are filled. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be December 2, 2020, with subsequent cut-off dates on the 1st of each month. Eligible applications received after that date will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis until positions are filled. The medical/surgical unit serves as the base units for General Surgery, Oncology, General Medicine, and ENT services. Care is also provided to a diverse group of patients with medical diagnoses. Special services focus on patients requiring telemetry, pain control, chemotherapy, tracheostomy care, and terminal/palliative care. The units in which you will float are: 5 West- Inpatient Surgery Unit 8 West- Oncology/Medical-Surgical Unit 8 East- Cardiac/Medical-Surgical Unit ED- Emergency Department PCU- Progressive Care Unit SICU-Surgical Intensive Care Unit MICU-Medical Intensive Care Unit Special services particular to these units include care of patients with the following diagnoses: COPD Complications of diabetes Neurological disorders Renal hemodialysis Cardiac disorders Cancer Hospice/Palliative Care Acute and Chronic Mental Health Care Work Schedule: Rotating shifts, night and weekends may be required.
