The HVAC Technician is responsible for trouble shooting, routine repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and systems; as well as responsible for maintaining proper air temperatures, humidity, and air relationships within the building.

Trade school or HVAC certification required, refrigeration certification preferred, knowledge of reading blueprints to include: HVAC controls, electric and schematics, knowledge of infection control issues related to HVAC systems, and proper air issues relating to negative/positive air flows and knowledge of boiler operations. Five years' experience of HVAC and experience with building automation systems preferred. |
