Your passion for Nutrition and Dietetics will make a large impact on the health of our patients & residents in our 6 county service region as you join a team of 4 Dietitians in our 100 person Food & Nutrition department. The team of Registered Dietitians provide nutritional services to the areas of Med Surg, Infusion, Radiation Oncology, Dialysis, Long Term Care, a Chronic Care Center with Wound Care & Diabetes, Community Education and coming soon; a new state of the art 23,000 sq. ft. Cancer Center.
Your teaching and coaching skills will be put to best use with a diverse staff at our expanding outpatient Chronic Care Center. This center includes a Certified Diabetes Program, Diabetes Prevention Program, and Wound Care Clinic. Your outpatients, community members, and fellow co-workers will appreciate your collaboration with this team of RN’s and CDE’s that cares for, educates and motivates everyone to live a healthy lifestyle.
We are growng and need to add another Full-time salaried Dietitian to work Monday through Friday with rotating weekend & holiday On Call.

Graduate of an accredited dietetic program (B.S., B.A., or M.A. in Nutritional Sciences, Community Nutrition, or Dietetics)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition Dietetics and Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Iowa within 6 months.
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) preferred.
Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Iowa preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Electronic Medical Record experience preferred (Meditech)
Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal communication skills for positive interaction with staff, patients, small groups, large groups and community presentations.
Knowledge of current Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process.
Knowledge of industry best practices and stays current with continuing education
Competency to effectively use Windows-based business software applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Effective organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and adaptability to changing priorities to meet demands.
