The Vice President of Life Enrichment and Memory Care is responsible for ensuring the Enlivant-person-centered philosophy and culture of Life Enrichment are developed and refined across all communities. The Vice President shall provide strategic planning, recommend and development of strategic programming initiatives, and develop/refine policy and procedures for Life Enrichment and Memory Care. The Vice President will recommend and develop training material and delivery methodology in partnership with Learning and Development and the Clinical team. The Vice President will partner with operations, clinical, dining and facilities to ensure development and delivery of quality programs for memory care and life enrichment.
Develop and refine innovative philosophy guidelines, care and service delivery, programming guidelines, policies, procedures and processes for delivery of Life Enrichment and Memory Care Services
Partner with Operations, Sales and Facilities function to build out and implement programming logistics for seamless execution
Develop and refine signature programs and recommend/develop training material
Ensures all regulatory guidelines, best practices, and expectations are included in both life enrichment and memory care
Oversee and manage Division Directors of Life Enrichment and Memory Care in partnership with Functional leaders of Divisional Vice Presidents of Care Services
Continually evaluate effectiveness of programs through refinement existing scorecard audit tool and demonstrate ability to implement changes as necessary to maximize consistency and effectiveness
Strategically assess gaps in the current programming and determine future needs of Memory Care/Life Enrichment to meet the future needs/goals of the organization
Exhibits good time management and organizational skills
Possess the ability to handle complex issues
Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills
Additional duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of experience in Senior Care, Memory Care, Assisted Living or Skilled care. Graduate level degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of multi-community experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience developing and scaling program implementation
Demonstrated group facilitation and training experience
Chicago based position with ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
Fluency with computer programs such as Outlook and MS Word
Previous assisted living experience
