The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at North Florida Regional Medical Center is comprised of an 18 bed main PACU unit, a 7 bed Women's Center PACU unit, and an 8 bed outpatient recovery unit.
We have an incredible team of nurses and techs who care for our patients during the immediate post anesthesia period. We provide post anesthesia care for patients following a wide variety of procedures, and are often faced with intensive hemodynamic monitoring and pain issues.
Our goal is to provide exceptional post anesthesia care to both inpatients and outpatients. Our team also support each other; we are one big, hardworking PACU family! We are always looking for nurses who are willing to make a commitment to being a part of our dynamic team.
· Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
· State of Florida RN License required
· BLS required at the time of hire
· PALS and ACLS within 90 days of hire required
· CAPA preferred

Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage.
