AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Assist the President/CEO with long range planning for the fiscal viability of Wesleyan Homes Inc. Provide administrative oversight to all business unit administrators to ensure success of those programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION/ DUTIES:
Assist the CEO as assigned to build organizational capabilities and financial strength.
Assume administrative leadership of newly developed operating units as directed by CEO.
Develop and oversee implementation of strategies to grow each business unit's customer service, value proposition and profitability to insure financial integrity of the corporation.
Maintain and improve traditional long term care and retirement living service modalities
Develop new and innovative service opportunities
Plan, develop and supervise Home and Community Based Services to develop the continuum of care offered and to bring as possible the appropriate level of service to the resident regardless of their residence.
Chair and/or participate in committees as directed by the President/CEO.
Supervise and support all marketing efforts and service programming to meet the expected revenue achievement of the sites
Develop a dashboard of Metrics engineered for the MCO, ACO and Hospital referral sources to become their preferred provider of long term care and rehab services.
Guide initiative to build on continuity and care management for individuals as they move thru an episode of medical care across a continuum of settings.
Create strategies and processes that enhance client/resident services and improve quality
Ensure quality and safe delivery of senior living services provided
Coordinate mechanisms for measuring quality care and organizational performance with the Chief Compliance Officer.
Responsible for ensuring that patient care and resident services are coordinated and managed appropriately in a cost effective and financially responsible manner.
Work with site Administrators to maintain compliance with all local, state, federal and licensing rules and regulations associated with the licensure of the buildings under their scope of authority
Analyze and interpret financial metrics and key performance indicators to identify changes which could impact staffing levels, quality of care, revenues, or expenses
Identify new markets/potential expansion areas for growth and development.
Foster teamwork among multiple sites and promote company culture and vision.
Build strong community relationships

A minimum of 10 years' experience in health care operations management required, preferably in multi-site/multi-programmatic long term care operations, CCRC's or Life Plan Communities
Ability to analyze and interpret financial metrics and key performance indicators
Ability to motivate professional, administrative, and direct care staff
A degree in Healthcare or a related discipline, with a Master's degree preferred
An active license in the state of Texas as a licensed nursing facility administrator is preferred
An active certification in the state of Texas as certified assisted living manager or the ability to obtain one is required
Extensive experience with managing daily expenses including labor
Initiative to develop new programs
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
