Our CARF accredited, post acute residential, vocational and outpatient programs are offered in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh regions of Pennsylvania.
We are actively searching for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to work with TBI clients, primarily within our residential programs located in Chester County. This role focuses on developing strategies for clients in areas of memory, language expression, speech production, pragmatics, comprehension, problem solving, conflict resolution and swallowing disorders. The pathologist must have experience providing cognitive therapy as well as swallowing tests. This role works within an interdisciplinary team, including PT, OT, psychology, nursing, recreation therapy and behavior analysis.
The schedule will be 16-20 hours per week. These hours will fall on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday. A set schedule will be established in order to recur appointments and coincide with other therapists’ schedules.

A Master’s degree in speech-language pathology and one-year experience completed with CCC from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, along with current Pennsylvania state license is required. In addition, it is expected that individual’s in this role will participate in continuing education programs. Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills are required. The ability to communicate with families, professionals and co-workers is a must. A valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
