Goodwin House Incorporated (GHI), a nationally recognized, faith-based, nonprofit organization that owns and operates retirement communities in NoVA, is seeking a Director of Annual Giving for the Goodwin House Foundation (GHF). GHF supports the mission of GHI by raising funds to for other GHI/GHF programs.
The Director of Annual Giving reports to the Executive Director (ED) of GHF. The position will be responsible for the following, but not limited, duties:
Enter, track and acknowledge all gifts
Maintain database to ensure accurate and current financial and biographical information
Serve as liaison to the Finance Office
Provide statistical reports to include, analysis of year end data, monthly benchmarks, goal achievement, pledge and gift reconciliation
Qualifications of the ideal candidate are as follows:
A minimum of 3 years of fundraising experience
Strong written and verbal skills
Superior organization skills, including attention to detail
Experience with Raisers Edge preferred
Above average computer skills, specifically databases and Microsoft Office Suite
