This position is primarily responsible for providing resident services to Independent Living Residents which include maintaining the Resident Handbook, ensuring that family members are apprised of resident care needs as they arise, and providing transition guidance to residents when appropriate. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining compliance with CARF-CCAC standards, as well as continuous process improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, seven (7) to ten (10) years of management and social services experience required. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and be available to handle community relations. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and AOD and other such productivity tools as required. Must be a certified CARF surveyor or have the ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire date.
