Nestled inside our appealing campus, you’ll find our gracious gem, Kendall House, a 40-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. We are seeking a Director of Nursing to provide leadership through our core anchors of people first, compassionate action, and respectful communication; able to lead team members in providing person-centered care, always, now, and everywhere.
Organizes, directs, and supervises nursing services personnel concerned with the care of residents.
Responsible for the nursing care rendered to the residents of the community.
Plans and conducts conferences and discussions with administrative and nursing staff to encourage participation in formulating departmental policies.
Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services to improve quality of resident care and plan better utilization of staff time and abilities.
Attends weekly care plan meetings with the IDT and sees that Health Care Plans are up to date with acute problems.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Must have and maintain a current licensure by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
Experience in supervisory or leadership capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility, and/or geriatric nursing preferred.
Prior experience in long-term care preferred.
Current status as an RN required.
