Legacy Midtown Park seeks a dynamic and distinguished executive to serve as Legacy’s Midtown Park’s inaugural Executive Director.
The new Executive Director will oversee all aspects of Legacy Midtown’s Park’s operations, including financial and clinical excellence, and will exhibit a strong commitment to Legacy’s mission as a Jewish-sponsored organization that provides care for seniors.
The Executive Director will be a highly engaged and innovative leader, who embraces and promotes person-centered care delivery models. As Legacy’s inaugural Executive Director, the new leader will be engaged in all aspects of opening the Legacy Midtown Park Campus, as well as well as its continued operation. The Executive Director will ensure operational excellence through active engagement with the leadership team, staff, residents, and the community.
Legacy Midtown Park’s Executive Director will be an adept and experienced senior care leader who has a proven track record of building new senior care organizations and services. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, and partner successfully with Legacy’s Chief Executive Officer, Melissa Orth, as well as members of the Legacy team.
As an important member of the Legacy’s team, Legacy Midtown Park’s Executive Director will implement Legacy Midtown Park’s ongoing strategies and partner with the Legacy Team to develop operational, marketing, performance and financial goals. The Executive Director will be responsible for recruiting and developing the Midtown Park leadership team.
In 1953, Legacy Senior Communities opened the Dallas Home for Jewish Aged on the Golden Acres campus in east Dallas to serve a growing need. Under expert guidance and generous support from the community, it quickly became a nationally recognized leader in the field of aging for seniors of all faiths. Today, the Legacy Senior Communities has evolved to serve Greater Dallas seniors of all faiths by offering independent living and a full continuum of care, including assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehab, and in-home care. To meet the needs and changing lifestyles of seniors and their families, Legacy is pleased to present The Legacy Midtown Park, a new, state-of-the-art rental continuing care retirement community – opening in Dallas in 2019. An urban, contemporary community located on 10 acres, The Legacy Midtown Park will be convenient to area hospitals, medical buildings, synagogues, movie theaters, cultural venues, restaurants, hotels, and public transportation. An undergraduate degree in business administration, healthcare administration, management, or related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an executive leader in a continuous care retirement community, experience opening a community, and experience in a multi-site organization are strongly preferred.
