The Vice President of Post-Acute Care Services drives the strategic direction as well as overall operations of post-acute services including long term care, assisted living, independent living, memory care, estate homes, and home care services. This position is responsible for operational performance including occupancy, financial performance, reimbursement, regulatory issues, and resident satisfaction. The Vice President of Post-Acute Services provides vision and leadership in executing protocols across the continuum of care. The position is accountable for maintaining compliance with state, federal, and reimbursement guidelines. The position is responsible for system integration to reduce unnecessary clinical and operational variation and implementation of evidence-based performance improvement efforts across key strategic areas

Responsible for the overall operations of post-acute services listed above.
Responsible for fiscal viability of all programs under direction. Manages and provides leadership in financial matters regarding budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
Accountable for the development and maintenance of all operational and clinical policies and procedures pertaining to entities within scope of responsibility.
Responsible for development and implementation of plans for the profitable growth of the division and improvement of its competitive position.
Oversees market research and feasibility studies, business plan development, new service initiatives and constructions projects for entities within span of control.
Provides leadership and oversees the management of services through thorough evaluation of programs and staff.
Demonstrates ability to meet objectives of overall growth, profitability, broadening of service and service quality.
Provides strategic vision and establishment of long-range plans and goals.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations for all levels of care.
Provides leadership and direction for ensuring quality patient care.
Communicates expectations and holds leaders accountable.
Provides leadership and direction for improving resident/customer satisfaction.
Represents the organization in working with outside agencies.
Ensures financial transactions and bookkeeping records are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional growth and development to keep up with the latest trends in post-acute care services.
Master's degree in Health Related Field and/or Nursing
Seven years of leadership experience in long term care
Current Illinois Nursing Home Administrator License
Current Illinois RN licensure preferred
