Located in Homer, Alaska, the South Peninsula Hospital (SPH) is a Critical Access Hospital with an attached 28-bed nursing home. SPH is currently accepting resumes for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO is responsible for safeguarding assets, the financial viability and overall fiscal management of the organization. They will provide leadership, direction and administration of all financial systems of the hospital, and prepare and maintain financial statements and records; budgets and financial reports, as well as manage cash flow. This person will serve as a member of the Senior Management Team and oversee the following areas: Patient Financial Services, General Accounting, IT, HIM, Clinical Information Analysis and Corporate Compliance.

Background must include a minimum of 2 years CFO experience in a hospital setting or minimum of 6 years of healthcare financial management experience. Preference given to those candidates with financial experience in a non-profit Critical Access Hospital.
