Our partner is looking for a Medical Director for their Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) program. They help individuals live as independently as possible in their home and within the community through a range of services. They are the only program of its kind in the Sioux City area. They provide added peace of mind to their participants and their families. The program provides a unique opportunity for you to work with a team of PACE professionals committed to the health and well-being of the participants they serve.
The Medical Director is responsible for the delivery of quality participant care. Other duties include:
Achieving the best clinical outcomes for all PACE participants.
Providing oversight of the quality assessment and performance improvement plan.
Developing and administering PACE clinical policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Provides clinical oversight and input into the evaluation of physicians and nurse practitioners.
Qualified candidates will be a licensed physician in the State of Iowa maintaining a current state license, Controlled Substance Registration, and DEA registration. Qualified candidates will also be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Geriatrics. Four years’ experience as a practicing physician with an emphasis on geriatric population preferred.
