Medical Director (Program of All Inclusive Care of the Elderly) HopeWest is seeking an exceptional physician with geriatric, primary care and leadership experience to help launch a new P.A.C.E. program and work collaboratively with HopeWest’s hospice and palliative medicine physicians and nurse practitioners, including providing patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS - Licensed M.D. or D.O. in the state of Colorado - Board certified in internal medicine or family practice, or will be certified within two years. - Controlled substance license with current DEA license number. - CPR Certification. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Valid Colorado driver's license and unlimited access to reliable transportation. - Adequate automobile insurance. - Eligible or currently possess a Medicare/Medicaid UPIN number. - Eligible or currently credentialed at local hospitals. - Eligible to bill insurance for palliative care and symptom management visits. - Able to participate in on-call and week-end rotation. - Good management skills. - Good leadership skills.
