Exciting opportunity for an independent leader with experience in PACE, post acute, managed care, CCRC and/or community based care. Be a vital part of creating a new PACE program in northeast Florida. This PACE is a division of one of the nations' largest and most well respected, not for profit hospices: Community Hospice of Northeast Florida in Jacksonville, FL.
The position has full operating authority and is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the PACE program; for representing the program in the community; for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of the program; and for strategic planning and for budget responsibility and accountability in conjunction with senior management. S/he has broad operating authority over all aspects of the PACE center(s), within the confines of corporate policy and procedures. S/he assures the programs are functioning consistently within corporate standards and applicable regulations
Masters Degree in Business or Health Care Administration; substantial high level, related work experience may be substituted.
Capacity for mature business decisions and judgments
Five years’ relevant experience with experience in a capitated healthcare environment preferred
Experience working with a Medicare/Medicaid waiver program or demonstration project preferred
