Education and/or Experience BA preferred, but will consider work/life experiences. Health Care Administrator License may be required.
Language Skills Ability to clearly communicate with Corporate office, Human Resources, team members, residents, resident families, and individuals within and outside the community is a must. In addition, must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as sales, accounting and budgeting figures.
Reasoning Ability Ability to identify problems and use problem-solving and conflict intervention skills. In addition, must be able to work with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of company’s accounting software; Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Other Qualifications Must possess a general knowledge of laws and restrictions regarding Assisted Living care, and the Department of Health, as well as have a solid understanding of current basic employment laws and regulations.
Must be able to travel within the community and to Corporate office as needed. In addition, the ability to keep irregular, rotated, or extended hours is mandatory.
Physical Demands To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess the physical stamina to move freely throughout the Community and assist residents when needed and in emergency situations.
