Grant County Nursing Home, d.b.a. Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center, is searching for a talented, experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Administrator to lead our team in Petersburg, West Virginia. As Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall operations, leadership, management and success of the facility; responsible for financial management, quality assurance, regulatory management, business development goals and maximization of revenue; family relations; resident care; attracting and retaining top performing talented team members as well as the supervision and career coaching of existing team members on staff. The successful candidate will also supervise maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment; develop, implement and assess systems of staffing and scheduling to assure adequacy and mix of personnel 24 hours a day; complete performance appraisals annually on all department heads; communicates with the Board of Directors on purchasing major equipment, policy change, and staffing issues; and maintains established budgets. Maintains a current license as a nursing home administrator by attending workshops and seminars. Performs duties and assists in the implementation and changes of the HIPAA privacy policies.
Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively. Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures. Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities. Ideally, the candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and 1 to 2 years’ experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a West Virginia license.
