The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the overall operation and management of the community to include the marketing and sales, day to day business operations, and financial functions, and regulatory compliance. A Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years experience in managing an assisted living and memory care Must be a licensed Assisted Living Administrator in the state of Virginia Must have extensive turn around experience with a strong history of regulatory compliance Management experience to include supervision of staff, interviewing and hiring, coaching, performance management, team building, retention and employee relations. Previous food and beverage and fine dining experience required. Proven ability to manage resident relationships and committees. Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses. Must have a strong sales and marketing background in senior living. Ability to identify and build relationships within the local area that drives business into the community, as well as maximize revenue Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new applications. Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations.
