The Vice President of Operations is responsible for supporting operation efforts for multiple buildings. You will plan and implement business programs as assigned in conjunction with the COO. You may also be responsible for providing training, education, and strategic coaching for Regional Directors of Operations.
Some of the responsibilities of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide operational leadership to Regional Directors of Operations and Residence Directors alike. Work with executive leadership to develop and execute operational initiatives to meet company goals and standards and all state and national regulatory requirements. Perform site visits to provide training, guidance, and hands on application as needed on executing Legend programs and policies. Coordinate quality reviews at residences in coordination with RDOs. Provide strategies, guidance, and execution on achieving financial and performance goals. Provide guidance on maintaining safety and security of the buildings, equipment, residents, and staff. Analyze and evaluate competition and our position in the marketplace. Provide guidance to operators in maintaining a favorable public image by being an active part of the community and industry. Maintain compliance with all laws, rule, and regulations in all communities. Produce and analyze reports on business data to determine operational excellence and areas for improvement.

Work Experience or Qualifications: Minimum 5 years prior experience in a leadership position in senior living industry. Experience in an operations role overseeing multiple locations. Previous experience in the Senior Living industry is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Strong attention to detail, ability to anticipate needs, follow-through and ownership on assignments. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or similar discipline; or equivalent experience. Ability to travel, occasionally extensively, including expended periods of driving and overnight stays.
