Providence is calling a Resident Care Manager (Long Term Care Dept, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE ) to Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, Washington. In this position you will:
Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guideline that govern the long-term facility.
Participate in developing and maintaining, all ministry policies and procedures
Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the Residents/patients total regimen of care.
Make daily rounds of the Nursing Service Department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. Report findings to the Director.
Participate in the development of a written care plan (preliminary and comprehensive) for each resident that identifies the problems/needs of the resident, indicates that care to be given, goals to be accomplished, and which professional service is responsible for each element of care.
Assist support services in developing, implementing, and conducting in-service training programs that relate to the Nursing Service Department.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN program
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a LPN or Registered Nurse in this state
Must have, as a minimum 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred
